2. Investment and Construction

The total realized development investment in the province in 2023 (at
current prices) reached 51,677 billion VND, an increase of 14.9% compared to

that in 2022, of which: the state sector s investment reached 16,455 billion
VND, accounting for 31.8% of total development investment and a year-on-
year increase of 3.1%; The non-state sector’s investment attained 32,966 billion
VND, making up 63.8% of total development investment and a year-on-year
’
rise of 24.8%; The FDI sector s investment achieved 2,256 billion VND,
accounting for 4.4% of the total development investment and a year-on-year of
decrease of 13.5%. The ratio of the realized investment to GRDP in 2023 was
estimated at 43.9%, which was 1.6 percentage points higher than that in 2022.
In terms of investment items in 2023, the outlays investment reached
39,517 billion VND, accounting for 76.5% of the realized investment capital
and increasing by 19.7% compared to that in 2022; the fixed assets procurement
capital for production attained 7,577 billion VND, accounting for 14.7% of total
realized investment and decreasing by 20.2%; the capital for fixed assets repair
and upgrading achieved 2,575 billion VND, accounting for 5% of the realized
investment and increasing by 31.2%; the supplement for working capital from
owned capital was 1,421 billion VND, accounting for 2.7% of total realized
investment and increasing by 193.6%; the other investment reached 587 billion
VND, accounting for 1.1% of realized investment and increasing by 2,452.2%.

In 2023, there were 6 licensed projects, an increase of 4 projects; the total
registered capital reached 46.2 million USD, a downturn of 974.4% and the
realized capital achieved 82 million USD, an upturn of 59.6% compared to that
in 2022. At the end of 2023, total valid FDI projects was 91 projects, with the
total registered capital of 1,188.8 million USD.

In 2023, the area of floors of completed residential buildings reached

3,241.5 thousand m , an increase of 5.1% compared to that in 2022. Of which,
the area of floors of single detached houses completed accounted for 93.8%.
The floor area of completed single-owner occupied houses of households

in 2023 was 3,001.1 thousand m , an increase of 5.2% compared to that in
2022.
