warehousing increased by 8.76% (contributing 0.4 percentage points);
Accommodation and catering services increased by 18.94% (contributing 0.66
percentage points); Administrative activities and support services increased by
27.67% (contributing 0.15 percentage points); Other service activities rose by
21.72% (contributing 0.25 percentage points).
The province's economic scale reached 117,668.8 billion VND and

ranked the 24 per 63 localities in the country, the 5th per 14 localities in the
North Central and Central coast areas and the 3rd per 5 localities in the Central
key economic region.
The economic structure was shifting positively: The agriculture, forestry,
and fishery accounted for 26.38%, the industry and construction made up
30.39%, the services accounted for 38.9%, the product taxes less subsidies on

production accounted for 4.33% . Cultural and social activities made many
advances. Social security was guaranteed, people's lives in the province were
basically stable. National defense and security were strengthened, social order
was maintained. The political system continued to be consolidated and
perfected.
2. State budget revenue, expenditure and insurance
The total State budget revenue in the area in 2023 was estimated to reach
12,702.6 billion VND, a year-on-year reduction of 19.2%. The total local State
budget expenditure in 2023 was estimated to reach 30,483.4 billion VND, a
year-on-year decrease of 15.2%.
The total insurance revenue reached 3,823 billion VND in 2023, a year-
on-year growth of 9.5%, of which: the social insurance revenue was 2,228
billion VND; the health insurance revenue achieved 1,439 billion VND; the
unemployment insurance revenue attained 156 billion VND. The total insurance
expenditure was 4,270 billion VND in 2023, a year-on-year upturn of 12.3%, of
which: the social insurance expenditure reached 2,820 billion VND; the health
insurance expenditure was 1,271 billion VND; the unemployment insurance
expenditure reached 179 billion VND.
