(only industry was estimated at 11,821 billion VND, a build-up of 6.82%,
contributing 1.34 percentage point); the service sector was estimated at
24,400.4 billion VND, a growth of 8.33%, contributing 3.34 percentage point;
the product taxes less subsidies on production was estimated at 2,637.8 billion
VND, a spread of 5.77%, contributing 0.25 percentage point.
The agriculture, forestry and fishery sector increased by 3.17% (the same
period increased by 3.26%), contributing 0.82 percentage points to the overall
growth rate of the entire provincial economy. Of which, the agricultural sector
increased by 4.19% (same period went up 2.98%), contributing 0.6 percentage
points. This year, the agricultural sector of Binh Dinh province continued to
build large fields, production linkage projects and disease prevention and
control measures; The livestock industry continued to develop, the livestock
projects, especially farm-scale livestock, high technology application and
biosafety-oriented livestock farming. The fishery increased by 2.15% (same
period rose by 3.17%), contributing 0.21 percentage points; The forestry went
up 0.82% but accounted for a low proportion, so it only contributed 0.02
percentage points.
In the industry and construction sector, the industry had a growth rate of
10.81%, contributing 3.2 percentage points to the overall growth rate of the
entire economy. In the context of the world economy continuously facing many
difficulties, synchronous measures were deployed from the central to the
provincial levels, the industrial production still maintained growth. Some
industries were facing many difficulties and narrowing production scale such
as: Producing beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs; Footwear manufacture;
Production of products from paper; Production of products from prefabricated
metal, etc. However, some industries with good resilience grew strongly,
contributing to the overall growth rate of the industry such as: Manufacture of
food products; Manufacture of beverages; Manufacture of wearing apparel;
Manufacture of wood; Manufacture of pharmaceuticals; Electricity production
and supply, etc. The construction grew by 18.76% (same period in 2022
increased by 7.66%), contributing 1.85 percentage points.
The service sector in 2023 increased quite well, up 8.33% over the same
period. Of which, the wholesale and retail went up 8.52% over the same period
last year (contributing 0.66 percentage points); the transportation and
