In 2023, Binh Dinh province continued to accelerate the progress of
implementing key transportation projects. The province was currently
implementing the North-South expressway project with a total investment of
24,574.9 billion VND. Thanks to that, the construction had the highest growth
rate over many previous years.

In 2023, the world economy had a major impact on trade and services of
Binh Dinh province. However, from the beginning of the year, the Provincial
People's Committee directed the Department of Industry and Trade and the
Department of Tourism to promote many fair programs to introduce local
products and specialties of businesses and production establishments, and

regularly propagate the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using
Vietnamese goods"; and organize many big events and festivals attracting a
large number of visitors to Binh Dinh province.
The socio-economic situation remained stability, recovery and
development. However, there were still many difficulties and challenges,

especially complex fluctuation of price and market that negatively impacted
people's production and business situation. Social security work and care for
policy beneficiaries continued to be implemented. On the occasion of New Year
and holidays, the provincial branches, levels and localities organized gift giving
to those who contributed to the revolution.

Much attention to poverty reduction continued to be paid by the province.
The Provincial People's Committee directed departments, branches and People's
Committees of districts, towns and cities to effectively implement policies and
projects to support the poor and near-poor households in the localities to
contribute to improving life, increasing income for the poor and near-poor
households so that they gradually got out of poverty in 2023.

The work of protecting and caring for children continued to receive
attention and implementation; including accelerating implementation of the
contents of the Child injury prevention and control program, Child labor
prevention and reduction program; Child protection program.

The education and training sector synchronously implemented key tasks
and set of basic solutions in implementing tasks for the 2022-2023 school year.
