AND METHODOLOGY OF SOME STATISTICAL INDICATORS
ON TRANSPORT AND COMMUNICATION
TRANSPORT
Turnover of transport, storage and transportation suporting services
is total proceeds from the provision of transportation, storage business and
other transportation supporting services in a certain period, including:
(1) Turnover of passenger transportation is amount of money earned
from providing service of domestic and foreign passenger transportation by
roadway, railway, warterway and airway transports;
(2) Turnover of cargo transportation is amount of money earned from
providing internal and external transportation of goods on roadway, railway,
warterway and airway transports;
(3) Turnover of storage services is amount of money earned from hiring
storages, ground to preserve;
(4) Turnover of transportation supporting services is amount of money
earned from providing transportation supporting services, including:
+ Turnover of loading service is amount of money earned from loading and
unloading cargos, luggages of passengers on means of transports;
+ Turnover of other transportation supporting services.
Number of passengers carried is the total passengers carried by
transportation establishments and others carrying out transportation business
activities regardless of travel distance. The total number of passengers is the
real number of passengers transported.
Number of passengers traffic is the passengers traffic through a length
of transportation distance, that is calculated by multiplying number of
passengers carried with the actual transported distance.
