In 2023, there was no epidemics in livestock and poultry in the entire
province. Therefore, livestock production results in the whole province
achieved a good growth rate. Specifically: There were no major changes in
buffalo and cow husbandry; Pig farming had positive production results;
Poultry farming continued to increase. Regarding the total herd size, small-
scale and household farming decreased; However, animal husbandry on a form
of farming, household and enterprise scale was still being maintained and
developed well thanks to the advantages of a closed production process, lower
livestock costs, and better disease prevention mechanism.

In general, the livestock situation in the province developed stably,
population regeneration continued to be promoted, the number of cattle and
poultry gradually increased.
In 2023, the production of castles was as follows: buffalo live weight
1,635 tons, a year-on-year decline of 4.8% (-83 tons); production of castles live
weight 37,781 tons, an increase of 2.8% (+1,017 tons); production of pig live
weight 138,350 tons, a growth of 6.3% (+8,143 tons); production of poultry
live weight 28,372 tons, an increase of 5.3% (+1,433 tons).

2. Forestry
The situation of forestry production in the province in 2023 continued to
be stable, timber exploitation from planted forests tended to decrease slightly
due to falling prices (-400 thousand VND/ton); The area of planted forests and
forests with management, caring for, and being zoned for regeneration
throughout the province was stable. Much attention to protecting, preventing
and fighting forest fires was paid by leaders at all levels and sectors, so the
situation of forest fires; deforestation and illegal logging still occured but
decreased significantly over the same period.
In 2023, the area of newly concentrated forest reached 17,925 hectares, a
year-on-year decrease of 10.5% (-2,095 ha), of which production forest 17,752
hectares; protected forest 163 hectares; special-use forest 10 hectares. Wood

production reached 1,681,807 m , a year-on-year increase of 4% (+64,101m );
firewood production 551,311 ster, a decline of 0.6% (-3,076 ster); bamboo
harvested 1,663 thousand trees, an increase of 9% (+137 thousand trees);
conical leaves 1,953 thousand leaves, an increase of 0.6% (+12,000 leaves);
fresh bamboo shoots 1,192 tons, a growth of 0.5% (+6 tons).
3. Fishery

In 2023, the weather was quite favorable for fishery exploitation and
