IN 2023
1. National accounts
The gross regional domestic products (GRDP) (at constant 2010 prices)
was estimated at 60,446.3 billion VND in 2023, a year-on-year increase of
7.61%. Of which, the estimate of agricultural, forestry and fishery sector was
14,995.7 billion VND, a rise of 3.17%; the estimate of industry and
construction sector reached 18,412.4 billion VND, an upturn of 10.81%, only
industry was estimated at 11,821 billion VND, a build-up of 6.82%; the service
sector was estimated at 24,400.4 billion VND, a growth of 8.33%; the product
taxes less subsidies on production was estimated at 2,637.8 billion VND, a
spread of 5.77%.
The GRDP at current prices was estimated at 117,668.8 billion VND. Of
which, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector’s estimate was 31,040.8
billion VND, accounting for 26.4%; the industry - construction sector’s
estimate reached 35,763.5 billion VND, accounting for 30.4%; the service
sector’s estimate achieved 45,767.4 billion VND, accounting for 38.9%; the
estimate of product taxes less subsidies on production attained 5,097.1 billion
VND, accounting for 4.3% (the corresponding structure of sectors was 27.4%;
30.1%; 38.1%; 4.4% in 2022).
The GRDP per capita was estimated at 78.1 million VND per person in 2023,
an increase of 7.4 million VND per person (+10.5%) compared to that in 2022.
The GRDP per capita converted into US dollars was estimated at 3,259
USD per person in 2023, a rise of 261 USD per person (+8.7%) over the same
period last year.
In general, in 2023, military conflicts and economic and political changes
in some countries in the world, inflation, and increase in raw material prices
continued to affect the economic situation of Binh Dinh province, however
thanks to the drastic action of the entire political system, the determination,
efforts, and striving of all levels, sectors, localities and the consensus and
support of enterprises and people in the province, the province's socio-
economic situation continued to develop stably, maintained good growth and
achieved quite comprehensive results in most fields.
