secondary school pupils, an increase of 0.7%.
The average number of pupils per class in kindergarten, primary school,
lower secondary school and upper secondary school was 25.1, 29.5, 36.6 and
40.2, respectively. The average number of pupils per teacher in kindergarten,
primary school, lower secondary school and upper secondary school was 13.9,
20.3, 20.6 and 23.4, respectively.
In the school year 2023-2024, there were 199 secondary school teachers,
a year-on-year increase of 50.8%. The number of secondary school pupils was
3,675 persons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.9%, of which female students was
821 persons, accounted for 22.3% and up 9.8%. In the school year 2022-2023,
the number of secondary school graduates was 782 persons, a year-on-year
increase of 48.4%.
In the school year 2023-2024, there were 3 colleges in the province with
342 lecturers, the number of teachers increased by 11.8% compared to the
previous school year. The number of college students was 2,168 persons, a
year-on-year decrease of 54.3%, of which number of female students was 646
persons, accounted for 29.8% and down 62.9%. In the school year 2022-2023,
the number of college graduates was 224 students.
In the school year 2023-2024, there were 2 universities with 629 lecturers
in the province, the number of lecturers witnessed a year-on-year drop of 1.1%.
The number of university students was 14,763 persons, a year-on-year increase
of 10.7%, of which number of female students was 9,994 persons, accounted
for 67.7% and up 9.3%. In the school year 2023-2024, the number of university
graduates was 3,077 persons, a year-on-year rise of 39.7%.
