destinations proactively improved service quality, organized many admiring

events and activities to bring exciting and new experiences to visitors, contributing
improvement of effectiveness of tourist attraction. As a result, the revenue of
service industry was increased compared to the same period in 2022. The number
of visitors served by accommodation establishments reached 4,524,663 people, a
year-on-year increase of 26%; The number of visitors served by travel

establishments reached 347,607, an increase of 95.2%.
In 2023, the global economy was affected by the conflict in Russia - Ukraine
and the conflict in the Gaza Strip, so the global economy grew slowly and the
domestic economy was also affected. This directly affected the export activities of

Viet Nam and Binh Dinh province.
Total import-export turnover in 2023 was estimated at 2,023 million USD,
down 5.1% over the same period last year. Main import and export items included

wood, wood products; raw materials, textile products, leather footwear; plastic
products; agricultural, forestry and aquatic products; fertilizer. Of which, export
turnover in 2023 was estimated at 1,585.6 million USD, down 3.7% over the same
period last year.
